WILLIAM HENRY PADGETT 

W.H. PADGETT, 82, OF WAVERLY WAS BURIED THURSDAY 

  Waverly - Funeral services for William Henry Padgett, 82, held at the 
residence at 3 p.m. Thursday, with burial in Waverly Cemetery.  The 
services were conducted by the Rev. R.L. Jackson, of Waverly Christian 
Church, assisted by the Rev. Murdock Butler of Wakefield Christian 
Church.  Mr. Padgett died Tuesday morning at his residence near Waverly. 
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dillard Bailey and Mrs. Lucy Brittle 
of Wakefield; four sons, J.E. Padgett of Baltimore; Isham P. Padgett of 
Prince George County; John and Leon Padgett of Waverly; 31 grandchildren 
and 9 great-grandchildren.
