ELMO CLIFTON PITTMAN 

  WAKEFIELD - Elmo Clifton Pittman, age 78, a resident of Wakefield, Va., 
died Tuesday, April 4, 1995, at his home.  He was born in Dendron, Va., and 
was the son of the late Charlie Clifton and Odie Luture [sic*] Hargrave 
Pittman.

  He was a retired watchmaker and had owned and operated Pittman’s Jewelry 
in Wakefield for 54 years.  He was a Baptist and member of the Horological 
Society of Virginia.

  He is survived by his wife, Margaret Eure Pittman and daughter-in-law, 
Lisa A. Pittman of Toano; a daughter, Linda M. Pittman of Wakefield; a 
granddaughter, Katherine M. Pittman and grandson, W. Stewart Pittman, both 
of Toano; three sisters, Vera P. Branch and Doris P. Massey, both of Newport 
News, and Edith P. Griffin of Windsor.  He was brother of the late Burtron H. 
Pittman.

  A graveside funeral service will be held in Wakefield Cemetery on Thursday, 
April 6, 1995, at 2 p.m. by Rev. Douglas M. Cotter.  The family will be at 
the residence.

  Memorial donations may be made to the Ivor Volunteer Rescue Squad.

  Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, is handling arrangements.

   Divorced, she 2m. William K. "Mac" McKNIGHT, Jr.  They are buried in 
   Sawnee View Gardens, Cummings, Forsythe Co., GA.

Greyson's parents, Chester Gilbert & Naomi Tall (POND) LAINE, are also 
   buried in Wakefield Cemetery.
