PITTMAN Mrs. Josephine G. Pittman, aged 93, widow of John W. Pittman, of Southampton County, and daughter of Thomas and Evilia [sic*] Davis Cosby of Petersburg, died Tuesday night. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Blanche Stortz, of Philadelphia, and Mrs. C.J. Cornwell, of Wakefield; two sons, W.R. Pittman, of Newport News: 30 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Cornwell in Wakefield, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Bates, pastor of the Methodist church at Wakefield.
