Mirko "Emerich" PLOCH, Army veteran of Vietnam, contractor, former printer, b. 28 Oct 1935, Petrovaradin, Yugoslavia, d. 18 Mar 1996, Newcastle, Weston Co., WY, interred in Wakefield Cemetery*, 17 Jan 2006, Purviance Funeral Home obit; "The Daily Press" (Newport News, VA), Mar. 21, 1996, p. 24 *He shares a monument with his parents, Karl Dragutin & Anna (SKURANJ) PLOCH. His father's name is misspelled Carl. His family were "stateless" refugees, immigrating from Bremerhaven, Germany to New York, NY, arriving 17 Oct 1951 aboard the USNS "General C.H. Muir." He m. Czech-native Anna Emilie ZACINEK 27 May 1961. Birthplace from M.Cert. 10664 (Suffolk #25). Mirko was then a printer for "The Hopewell News." Their premature infant Michael Joseph (d. 26 May 1963), & his father (d. 22 Sep 1965) were buried in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Wakefield; defunct, most interments have been moved elsewhere. (R.W.
