KATHERINE MORRIS "KITTY" POND 
October 2, 1939 - September 29, 2021 

  Katherine Morris "Kitty" Pond, 81, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 
2021.  Born on October 2, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin 
Franklin Morris and Virginia Babb Morris.  She is also preceded in death by 
her loving husband of 58 years, Harold Drew "Jill" Pond; siblings, James Mack 
Morris, Geraldine Vaughan, and Bennie Morris.

  Left to cherish her memory is her son, Dempsey Harold Pond; daughter, Terri 
Pond Billups and her husband, Robbie; grandson, Robert Drew Billups; and 
siblings, Edith Wilson, Emily Williams, Joseph Morris, and William Morris.

  A graveside service, officiated by Pastor Glenn Riggs, will be held 2 pm, 
Friday, October 1, 2021, at Wakefield Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family 
requests memorial contributions be made to Wakefield United Methodist Church, 
P.O. Box 87 Wakefield, Va. 23888.  R.W. Baker & Company Funeral, Wakefield
