Price Funeral services for Benjamin Franklin Price, 78, who died Monday, were held at 2 P.M. Wednesday from his home at Sussex Courthouse, with burial in the cemetery of Bethel Methodist church with the Rev. S.G. Carlton officiating. Mr. Price had spent the major portion of his life in Sussex, and was held in high esteem by the people of that community. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ida Edwards Price; two daughters, Mrs. T.B. Fannin, of Sussex Courthouse, and Mrs. R.C. Parsons, of Richmond; two sons, Henry F. and Marvin P. Price, of Sussex Courthouse; three sisters, Mrs. Jodie Savedge and Mrs. Sallie Price, of Elberon, and Mrs. Ella Burgess, of Dendron; and three brothers, J.H. Price, of Dendron, Waverly Price, of Newport News, and Perry Price, of Berkley. M.Reg. {BVS copy} 1867 p. 413) D.Cert. 3577 (Richmond #465) gives parents unknown; d. of Compression fracture of spine & myocardial failure - "this man fell from his wagon when it ran over stump."
