CLEVELAND D. PRICE 

  Cleveland D. Price, 90, January 1, in a Richmond hospital.

  A lifelong resident of Surry County, he was the husband of Mrs. Rebecca 
Pittman Price.

  He was a retired painting contractor.

  Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Sarah Rice, a son, Mervin J. 
Price, and a sister, Mrs. Olivia Gardner, all of Richmond; a brother, Oliver 
Price of Portsmouth; and two grandchildren.

  A funeral service was held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Purviance Funeral Chapel, 
Wakefield, by the Rev. H.E. Crutchfield.  Burial was in Wakefield Cemetery.
