REBECCA PITTMAN PRICE 

  DENDRON - Rebecca Pittman Price, 95, died Sunday, March 3, in Chippenham 
Hospital, Richmond.

  Mrs. Price was a native and lifelong resident of Surry County.  She was a 
member of New Lebanon Christian Church, Elberon, where she was the church 
pianist, taught Sunday school and was a member of the Rebecca Price Bible 
Class.

  Survivors include a daughter, Sara P. Rice of Richmond; a son, Mervin Price 
of Richmond; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

  A funeral will be conducted at 2 today in Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, 
by the Rev. William Everhart.  Burial will be in Wakefield Cemetery.

  The family request that expressions of sympathy take the form of 
contributions to the Dendron Volunteer Fire Department, Dendron 23839.
