ANNA DELL DAWSON PURSELL 

MRS. W.H. PURSELL, JR. 

  PETERSBURG, VA. - Nov. 27 - Mrs. Anne Belle [sic; Anna Dell] Pursell*, wife 
of William Holm Pursell, Jr., died last night at her residence in Dendron, 
Va., following a brief illness.  She was 28 years old.  Besides her husband 
and a small child, Mrs. Pursell is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.R. 
Dawson, of York County, Va., and two sisters.  The funeral will be held 
tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock from the residence.  Rev. S.E. Owen, pastor 
of Dendron Baptist Church, assisted by Rev. H.B. Hall, of Dendron Methodist 
Church, will officiate.  The remains will be taken to Waverly for burial.

Her husband 2m. in 1923, div. in 1932, & 3m. in 1937.

Her parents, Albert Robert & Ida Bell (TURLINGTON) DAWSON are buried in 
.  Peninsula Memorial Park, Newport News.  They m. 21 Jan 1891 in Elizabeth 
   City Co. [now Hampton].
