PEARL BRYANT PURSELL

  Mrs. Pearl Bryant Pursell, age 84, a resident of Wakefield, died Sunday, 
January 15, 1978.  She was the widow of W.H. Pursell and a retired secretary, 
a member of the Wakefield United Methodist Church and a member of the A.P.V.A. 
She is survived by a sister, Ms. Ada B. Carr of Richmond and a brother, Samuel 
N. Bryant of Zuni, Va.; several nieces and nephews.  Funeral service will be 
held Tuesday, January 17, 1978 at 2 p.m. at Purviance Funeral Chapel in 
Wakefield, with burial in Wakefield Cemetery.  Family request memorials to the 
Ivor Rescue Squad.  A visitation will be held 7 to 9 p.m. Monday night at the 
funeral home.
