ROSA JAMES PRESSON 

   WAKEFIELD - A funeral service for Miss Rosa James Presson was conducted 
Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in Purviance Funeral Chapel by the Rev. H.E. 
Crutchfield and Dr. R.E. Brittle.  Burial was in Wakefield Cemetery.

   Pallbearers were Wallace Brittle, C.L. Goodrich, Gordon Presson, T.A. 
Presson, J.E. Presson and J.T. Presson III.

   Miss Presson, 88, died Tuesday in a Newport News hospital after a long 
illness.

   A native of Southampton County, she was a daughter of James E. and Mrs. 
Rosa Hargrave Presson.  She was a member of Burtons Grove Christian Church.

   She is survived by nieces and nephews.
