A native of Wakefield, he was the husband of Mrs. Hazel Johnson Robinson. He was a retired employee of Virginia Transit Co., in Norfolk, having retired in 1960. He was a member of Wakefield Baptist Church. Survivors also include a sister, Mrs. Mary R. Maul of Roanoke; and a half-sister, Miss Lottie Mae Robinson of Wakefield. A funeral was held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in Purviance Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Ed Griffin. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk. Memorial donations may be made to the Waverly Rescue Squad.
