Rose, 61, died unexpectedly last Saturday afternoon in Petersburg Hospital. He had been ill for six weeks and confined to his bed. He was a prominent citizen and lumberman, and a citizen of Sussex County for 20 years, having been born in Southampton. Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday with burial in the Waverly cemetery. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Lillian V. Rose; two children, Frank W. Rose and Miss Juanita Rose of Waverly; one brother, Frank Paul Rose of Franklin; one sister Mrs. Levi T. Wellons of Sedley. [William E. ROSE, Sussex Co. lumberman, b.
