PAUL WELLINGTON ROGERS

  Paul Wellington Rogers, 46, died at his home Friday, Dec. 4 after a heart 
attack.

  He was a lifelong farmer of the Wakefield Community and a member of Rocky 
Hock Methodist Church.

  He was the son of Joshua W. and Lucy Rawlings Rogers.

  Surviving are his widow, Clara Bain Rogers; a daughter, Joyce Leigh Rogers; 
a son, Paul W. Rogers, Jr.; a sister, Mrs. Ralph E. Seeley, all of Wakefield; 
two nephews, two nieces, one grand-nephew and one grand-nieces.

  A funeral service was held at Purviance Funeral Chapel on Sunday, Dec. 6, 
at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Edward B. Owen and Rev. L.P. Bland officiating.  Burial 
was in Wakefield Cemetery.

  Pallbearers were, S.A. Brantley, R.J. Bailey, H.L. Goodrich, Jr., Lyle H. 
Pond, J.C. Epps, Sr., Jack Bailey, Ralph Bailey and Jack Pond.
