WAKEFIELD - March 8 - Emmett Benjamin Richardson, 80, died Tuesday at his home here. He was a member of Spring Hill Christian Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nellie C. Richardson; a son, E.B. Richardson Jr. of Wakefield; three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Sasnett of Jacksonville, Fla., Lt. Cmdr. Miriam L. Richardson of Norfolk and Mrs. Ann R. Nicholson of Richmond; two sisters, Mrs. P.S. Emory of Dendron and Mrs. Gussie Pond of Suffolk; a brother, A.F. Richardson of Suffolk, and five grandchildren. Funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Purviance Funeral Home, with burial in Wakefield Cemetery.
