Born in Richmond on April 2, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Walter Toney and Virginia Jordan Toney. She was a member of Claremont Baptist Church and recently attended River’s Edge Bible Church. Lucille was a loving wife, mother, grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Jackson J. Rollins Jr.; great-grandson, Jerry Neal Rollins; brothers, Alexander N. Toney, John Toney and Lawrence Toney; and her sisters, Nancy Virginia Carpenter and Margaret Toney. Survivors include a daughter, Jeanne Cofer and her husband, Rea, of Prince George; sons, James Rollins, of South Carolina, William Rollins and his wife, Gale, of Arkansas, and Jerry Lee Rollins and his wife, Sandi, of South Dakota; six grandchildren, Jack, Jimmy, Trip, Kim, Karen and Krystal; and six great- grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Wakefield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2011. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at the funeral home with the Rev. Andy Paul officiating. Burial will follow in the Wakefield Cemetery.
