He was the son of the late Mills Leslie Rollings. A member of Dendron Methodist Church he was the owner of Elberon Supply, representative of Mobile Chemical Co., and a member of Dendron Ruritan Club and Union Hunt Club. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Ida Collier Rollings of Dendron; his wife, Mrs. Martha Anderson Rollings of Dendron; a daughter, Alma Faye Rollings of Dendron; a sister, Mrs. Joseph Hargrave of Dendron; and two brothers, Melvin Rollings of Dendron and Marion Rollings of Surry. Funeral services were at Purviance Funeral Chapel Friday, Feb. 14 at 2:00 p.m. with burial at Wakefield Cemetery. Rev. R.G. Moore and Rev. Gene C. Tatum officiated. Pallbearers were: Dwight Hargrave, William Rollings, Gardner, Rollings, Johnnie Rollings, Robert Burgess, Milton Seward, Shelton, Seward III and Marvin Seward.
