L.B. SPIVEY Mrs. Leslie Bailey Spivey, 67, died at a Newport News Hospital on January 25 after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James H. Bailey of Southampton County. She was a native of Southampton County but resided in the Wakefield and Dendron Community for the last 40 years. She was a member of the Wakefield Christian Church. She is survived by her husband, Arthur H. Spivey, of Dendron, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 at the Purviance Funeral Chapel in Wakefield with the Rev. H.E. Crutchfield officiating assisted by Dr. J.E. White. Burial will be in the Central Hill Church cemetery. Pallbearers are F.E. Branch, H.J. Hart, W.C. Seeley, Marshall Brittle, Samuel Brittle and Jack Hall. Leslie (BAILEY; Mrs. Arthur H.)
