RUTH SPRATLEY SAVEDGE 

  Mrs. Ruth Spratley Savedge, widow of Beverly A. (Mike) Savedge, died 
Wednesday, January 3, 1979.  She was a former resident of Richmond and 
a member of the Congregational Christian Church.  She is survived by 
brother, Garland W. Spratley, Dendron; two nieces, Mrs. Jennie S. Nicholson 
of Wakefield, Mrs. Lois S. Donald of Charlotte, N.C.  Funeral services will 
be held Friday, Jan. 5 at 11 a.m. in the Purviance Funeral Chapel in 
Wakefield.  Interment will be at 1 p.m., Forest Lawn Cemetery, in Richmond.
