WILLIAM ROBERT SHEFFIELD 

W.R. SHEFFIELD, 65, OF WAVERLY WAS BURIED FRIDAY 

  William Robert Sheffield, 65, prominent resident of Waverly, died June 16th 
in a Richmond hospital following an illness of several years.

  Surviving are a son, W.A. Sheffield of Waverly, with whom he made his home; 
six brothers, C.H. Sheffield of Waverly, H.T.; O.W. and J.A. Sheffield of 
Suffolk; H.R. Sheffield of Springfield, Ohio and A.D. Sheffield of St. 
Petersburg, Fla.

  The body was taken to the Harcum Funeral Home in Waverly and at 3:15 o'clock 
Friday afternoon.  The funeral procession left there for the grave in Waverly 
Cemetery, where services were conducted at 3:30 by the Rev. A.B. Harrell of 
Waverly Baptist Church.
