Mrs. Seeley was born in Surry County and was daughter of the late Joshua W. and Lucy Rawlings Rogers. She was an active member at Wakefield United Methodist Church and the Pocahontas Bible Class of the church. She was the widow of Ralph Evans Seeley, Sr. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara S. Pond, Wakefield, Linda S. Huber, Richmond; two sons, Ralph E. Seeley, Jr., Wayne A. Seeley, both of Wakefield; five grandchildren, William L. Pond, Betty P. Beale, David A. Seeley, Melissa A. Seeley, Amanda L. Seeley; three great-grandchildren, Willie P. Beale, Ella Beale and Austin Pond. Funeral service will be held at Wakefield United Methodist Church Friday, November 8, 1996 at 2 p.m. by Rev. C. Randolph Duncan. Burial will be in Wakefield Cemetery. Friends may call at the Seeley home, 8398 Spring Hill Rd., Wakefield. Memorial donations may be made to Wakefield United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or to Waverly Volunteer Rescue Squad. Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield is handling arrangements.
