MAUDE ROBERTSON COLLIER SLEDD 

  IVOR - Mrs. Maude Robertson Sledd, 92, formerly of Southampton County, died 
Wednesday in Lakewood Manor Nursing Home, Richmond.

  Born in Norfolk, she was a retired practical nurse.

  She was a member of Millfield Baptist Church, Ivor.

  Survivors include four sons, Jesse Burt Collier Sr. of Maryland, Benjamin R. 
Collier of Richmond, William W. Collier of Bumpass and Eugene T. Collier of 
Minnesota; four sisters, Mrs. Louise R. Nettles of Wakefield, Mrs. Mary C. 
Higgins of Waverly and Mrs. Essie Mae Hutchinson and Mrs. Clara R. Jones, both 
of Harrisonburg; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

  A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Wakefield Cemetery 
by the Rev. Parker Hooper.

  Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, is in charge.

Her first husband, Jesse Ward COLLIER (1891-1931), is buried in 
   Waverly Cemetery. 

They m. 28 Jun 1912 in Elizabeth City, Pasquotank Co., NC. 

Her second husband (1889-1958) is buried in Emmanuel Episcopal Church 
   Cemetery, Powhatan. 

They m. 17 Mar 1934 in Lunenburg Co., & div. in 1953.
