Born Oct. 16, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Lewellyn Wrenn and Laura Sober Wrenn. She was a member of Surry United Methodist Church, had formerly worked at Brandon Plantation with Robert Daniels Sr., at the Surrey House Restaurant and at the Community Market in Surry. She was the widow of Robert H. "Jake" Scarborough. She is survived by her son, Robert L. "Bobby" Scarborough and his wife, Jackie, of Wakefield; three grandchildren, Janet Fay Batten and her husband, Delk, Robert Troy Scarborough and his wife, Holly all of Smithfield, and Tod F. Scarborough and his wife, Robin, of Wakefield; five great-grandchildren, Shelley batten, Robert Scarborough, Lily Scarborough, Rhett Scarborough and Logan Scarborough; two sisters, Marjorie W. Hoffman of Newport News and Laura W. Reeson of Spring Grove; and several nieces. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, at Purviance Funeral Home Chapel, Wakefield, with the Rev. Ray Rowland officiating. Burial will be in Wakefield Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday evening and other times at Bobby and Jackie’s home, 521 Clay St., Wakefield. Memorial donations may be made to Surry United Methodist Church, Surry Volunteer Rescue Squad or Waverly Rescue Squad. Emma Lucille (WRENN; Mrs. Robert H.
