Born in Wakefield, she was the daughter of the late Rossie E. and Bernice Knight Andrews. She was the wife of the late John A. Scarborough for 35 years. She was a lifetime member of Rocky Hock United Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir and loved to sing. She loved raising her family and was especially fond of her granddaughters. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Scarborough of Southampton and Holly Scarborough of Chester, her granddaughters, Abigail Malcolm of Southampton, Jackie Johnston and husband, Paul, Camp Hill, PA; and great-granddaughter, Sarahann Marie Johnston of Camp Hill, PA. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Rocky Hock United Methodist Church in Wakefield with Dr. Margaret Kutz officiating. Burial will follow at the Wakefield Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Wakefield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home of Sunday, July 22, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rocky Hock United Methodist Church, c/o Richard Andrews, 4899 White Marsh Rd., Wakefield, VA 23888 or to Tidewater Academy, P.O.
