A son of Eddie Tomlin, of Windsor, and Emma J. Tomlin, of Wakefield, he was a native of Zuni and had lived in Wakefield for the past four years. He was employed as a farm equipment mechanic by the Southside Motor Company of Wakefield. He was a member of the Antioch Christian Church at Windsor. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Doris Warren Tomlin; a brother, Mills T. Tomlin, of Ivor; a sister, Mrs. Julian A. Felts, of Ivor, and one niece and five nephews. Funeral services will be held at Purviance Funeral Chapel on Saturday, December 5, at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. L.P. Bland of the Wakefield Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Wakefield Cemetery. Pallbearers are Clarence Edwards, Johnny Edwards, John Cobb, Coston Cobb, Woodrow Cobb, Herman Cobb and Mitchell Hunter. ****************************************************************************** EDWARD CALVIN TOMLIN WAKEFIELD - Edward C. Tomlin, 32, Buried Dec. 5 In Wakefield Cemty. Edward Calvin Tomlin, 32, farm equipment mechanic, died at his home in Wakefield Thursday, December 3, 1959, at 6 A.M. of a heart attack. A native of Isle of Wight County, he had resided in Wakefield for four years. He was a member of the Antioch Christian Church in Wakefield [sic; Windsor]. Surviving are his wife, Doris Warren Tomlin; his parents, Eddie Tomlin of Windsor, and Emma J. Tomlin of Wakefield; a brother, Mills T. Tomlin of Ivor; a sister, Mrs. Julian A.
