JESSIE COUNCILL POND WHITE 

MRS. J.S. WHITE, DIES IN WAKEFIELD 

  WAKEFIELD - July 24 - Mrs. Jessie Councill Pond White, 75, wife of Jeb 
Stuart White, of Wakefield, died Saturday at her home.  She was a member of 
Rocky Hock Methodist Church.  Besides her husband she is survived by three 
daughters, Mrs. Mariam Lee Ellis and Mrs. Lois Carolyn Hines, of Wakefield, 
and Mrs. Jessie Stuart Bass, of Danville; two sons, Robert Lee Pond, of 
Wakefield, and Lee Councill Pond, of Birmingham, Ala.; eight grandchildren 
and a number of nieces and nephews.

  The funeral service will be held at the residence at 11 a.m. Monday with 
interment in Rocky Hock Methodist Church Cemetery.
