Born December 1, 1917, she was the daughter of the late John Elim and Augusta White Bain and the widow of John Elliotte Williams Sr. She attended Mary Washington College and was a member of the Wakefield United Methodist Church, the United Daughters of the Confederacy, and the APVA Thomas Role Chapter. Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter, Cynthia W. Amicone and husband, Michael, of North Carolina; her son, John Elliotte Williams Jr. and companion, Sharon Baldwin, of Wakefield; granddaughter, Virginia Darnell Driscoll and husband, Matthew; and great- granddaughter, Neala K. Driscoll of Iowa; granddaughter, Laura Darnell Brake and husband, Christopher, of Maryland; her sister, Clara B. Rogers of Wakefield; numerous nieces and nephews; and caregiver and friend, Louise Stith. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 in Wakefield Cemetery. Friends and relatives are welcome to visit the family at the Williams residence. Memorial donations may be made to the Waverly Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O.
