In the name of God, Amen, I Mary Lee of the County of Sussex being sick and weak in body but of sound disposing mind and memory do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. viz. After the payment of my just debts I give unto my grand sons Latinus Vines Collier ten dollars also to John E. Collier and Anneliza T. Collier Sixty dollars to be equally divided between them. All the rest and residue of my Estate my will and desire is to be sold and equally divided amongst all of my children and my two grand children Mary E.R. Lee and James W.T. Lee infants of my son Thomas Lee dec'd. my two grand children to have one share, my will and desire is that William Lewis keep the money in his hands that will be comeing to John E. and Aneliza T. Collier and put it out as far as it will go for the schooling of the same John E. Collier and Analiza T. Collier. Lastly I constitute and apoint William Lewis Executor of this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 22nd September 1840. Mary(her+mark)Lee (Seal) Witness- Joshua T. Rowland Henderson Crowder At a Court held for Sussex County the 5th day of November 1840. The last Will and Testament of Mary Lee deceased was presented into Court and proved by the oath of Joshua T. Rowland a witness thereto and continued for further proof. And at another Court held for the said County of Sussex the 3d day of December 1840 the last Will and Testament of Mary Lee deceased was proved by the oath of Henderson Crowder the other witness thereto and ordered to be recorded. And on the motion of William Lewis the Executor therein named who made oath and entered into bond with security according to law, Certificate is granted him for obtaining a probate thereof in due form.
