IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I Edward Weaver of the County of Sussex and Parish of Albermarle being now of sound mind and disposing memory do make and declare my last Will and Testament to be as follows viz't. IMPRIMIS I give & devise to my son John Weaver & to his heirs forever one hundred and ninety five acres of land being the Plantation whereon I now live also one feather bed & furniture one cow and calf six leather chairs one iron pott & one horse. ITEM. I give and devise to my son William Weaver and to his heirs forever one hundred and fifty acres of land lying on the north side of the third meadow one iron pott and one Negro boy named Bob. ITEM. I give and devise unto my daughter Winnia Weaver and to her heirs forever one Negro girl named Beck and her increase one feather bed and furniture one cow and calf one womans hunting saddle one iron pott also one falling walnut table. ITEM. I give and devise to my grand daughter Elizabeth Weaver daut. of my son Travis six pounds cash. ITEM. I will that all the residue and remainder of my Estate after paying my just debts and funeral charges be sold at publick sale and to be equally divided among my children Henry, Travis, Elizabeth, Jean, Mary, Amy, and Susanna and one equal part to be divided between my son Edwards two children and to their heirs forever I will that my Estate shall not be appraised. LASTLY I constitute and appoint my two sons Henry and William Weaver Executors of this my last Will and Testament. The last Will & Testament of Edward Weaver deced. was presented into Court by Henry Weaver & William Weaver Executors therein named who made oath thereto as the law directs & the same was proved by the oaths of Robert Watson Harris Cotton & Peter Jennings the witnesses thereto and by the Court ordered to be recorded and on the motion of the said Executors Certificate is granted them for obtaining a probate thereof in due form.
