Item 1 I give and bequeath unto my loving wife Sarah Wrenn during of her natural life the east(?) and of my land lying on the spring swamp Bounded by James Long and Winea Long to laying branch thence down the said Branch to the spring swamp, the east end of my dwelling house above and below stairs, half of my Garden and half of Orchard, half of my Still, six Negroes to wit Isaac, Rheubin, Nancy, Winea, Tom, Ra????? and B.C. half of my household and kitchen furniture, half of my stock of all kinds, half of my Crop of all kinds, half of my plantation utensils of all kinds half of all my Estate not before divided after my just debts being paid -- Item 2 I give and bequeath my son Barham Wrenn all my land not before divided Negroes to wit Moses, Charles, Pat, Tom, Lucy, Aaaron, T.C., Hannah, Pat, Cate, and Solomon, half of my dwelling house the west and half of my Garden, and half of my Orchard, half my Still, half of my household and kitchen furniture, half of my stock of all kinds, half my plantation utensils and half of my Crop of all kinds, half of my Estate not before divided after paying all my debts and funeral expenses to him and his heirs forever also the Land and all the estate left to my wife Sarah Wrenn at the death of her natural life to Barham Wrenn and his heirs forever but if my wife Sarah Wrenn and Barham Wrenn should wish a division of the Estate which I presume they will not, but if they should do so I do constitute and appoint Thomas Wrenn and Benjamin Wrenn commissioners to divide the said Estate agreeable to the dictates of the will without any Order of the Court tis my will and desire that my Estate should not be Inventoryed nor appraised --- Lastly I do constitute and appoint Barham Wrenn my whole and sole executor to this my last will and Testament Given under my hand and seal this twenty fifth day of January eighteen hundred and fifteen. ------ Signed Sealed and delivered In the presents of -------- Joseph Wrenn (Seal) Witness Thomas Wrenn James Richardson Phillip Long At a Court held for Sussex County the 2nd day of February 1815?. The last will and testament of Joseph Wrenn, was presented into Court by Barham Wrenn the Executor therein named, the same was proved by the oaths of of the three subscribing witnesses and ordered to be recorded, ---- And on motion of Said Executor who made oath and entered into bond with security conditioned as the Law directs, certificate is granted him for obtaining a probate thereof in due form.
