Carver. 1814, Land Tax, for 124 acres on Big Rock ,Bluestone 1819 - Oct 23: Samuel received 1000 acre Land Warrant #6670 located on Dividing Ridge near Cabin Creek on Bluestone River. 1820, Personal Property Tax 1822, March 26: Will of James Thompson states that Samuel owed the estate money. 1822, Oct 18: Samuel obtained 2 additional Land Warrants totalling 550 acres located on Branch Creek and on the Mill Branch near Black Lick Mountain and Lusk Branch. 1828: Samuel and family relocated to Lawerence Co Ky...stayed there 1 year. 1829: Samuel and family relocated to Greenup Co Ky (now Carter Co Ky) 1834, Oct 7; Samuel filed for Invalid Pension for service in 1792, Indian Wars,when he was captured and injured losing use of one hand. Rejected on April 30 1842! 1839: Samuel is now in Carter Co Ky, (county line moved, not Samuel) 1840; Samuel Lusk and family is one the 1840 Carter Co Ky census. 1844: April 1, Samuel and Sarah sold their 187 acre farm purchased in 1839 on Rush Creek off Williams Creek for $315.00 to John Hartley. 1845: Samuel Lusk Jr ; deceased 1850: Carter Co Ky census: Sarah (Bailey) Lusk - widow, age 72 children still living at home Russell, William, Samuel , and Emily.
