Take Route 120 from Route 52 in Bramwell toward Pocahontas. Near the Virginia State Line, turn right on Eastr Peel Chestnut Road, Route 663, beside the Jordan Nelson Coal Bank historic marker. The train started moving just as Mattie Elen was getting off, and her dress got caught on a sharp piece of steel.
