Cemetery notes and/or description:
The Thomas Altizer cemetery is located in Tazewell County, 
in the Earls Branch region of Baptist Valley on land that 
Thomas Altizer once owned and farmed. The graves of Thomas 
and Sarah Nuckles Altizer are only two marked graves in it 
but 5 to 6 other burials are evident there. To find it 
take Hwy 16 (Adria Road) out of North Tazewell and go 
north about 2 miles and take a left on Baptist Valley 
Road, drive west 7.1 miles and turn left on Earls Branch 
Road, drive .4 miles south and turn right on Richardson 
Hollow Road. Stop and ask permission of the property owned 
to proceed then take this dirt road approximately .35 
miles and you will see the small fenced cemetery on a 
knoll at 37 degrees .06.622 N and 081 degrees.39.636 W.
