Leaving the Town of Tazewell on State Route 16 toward Bishop, Virginia. Continue on through Adria, Virginia, at the Foot of Stoney Ridge Mtn. Make a left onto State Route 643. Continue on to the Rye Cemetery Beside the road to the left. There is a dirt road behind the Rye Cemetery going back down the hill. Walk down this road. There will be an old road to the right. It is in between two hills. The cemetery will be half way up the hill to the left on the first flat landing. If you go to the top of the hill, you have gone to far. It is only about half way up. Rye b: June 7th 1884 -d: Sept. 23rd 1902 (Cemetery was raked and briars, vines etc. cut and Elijah Vance's stone reset July of 2003.)
