Shrader/Milam/Tabor/Bandy/Dalton/McGuire Deed, 1849 - Tazewell Co. VA 1849 DEED OF LOUISA SHRADER (typed as written) Know all men by these presents that I Louisa Srader of Tazewell County Virginia, for & in consideration of the love and affection I bare towards my children & those of my deceased husband Henry Srader & for the further consideration of one Dollar of lawful money to me in hole paid by the sons of said Srader & the husbands of his daughters, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do give, grant, bargian, sell & confirm unto the said children & the husbands of the females viz: to John Milam & Barbara his wife, Richard Tabor & Milly his wife, Francis Tabor & Polly his wife, Thomas Bandy & Sally his wife, William Dalton & Maria his wife, John Mc Guire & Jenny his wife, William Srader, James Srader, Henry Srader Jr, & Margaret Srader all & singular the right, title, interest, & claim, of me, the said Louisa Srader assigns to, & out of all lands, tenements, & here titlements to me now in any wise belonging or appertaining, except however as herein after excepted: thats to say, excepting & reserving to myself & for my sole use & benefit, the one third part of all the lands, tenements, & here titlements hereby conveyed, for & during the term of my natural life, & at my death the said third part hereby expected, & reserved to vest absolutely in the above mentioned persons & grantees: to have & to hold all & singular my said right , title, & interest, & claim as above mentioned subject to my said life estate in the part expected & reserved aforesaid, with all & singular the appurtenances there unto belonging unto the said (my note: here all the above names are repeated) their heirs & assigns forever, freed & exonerated from the claim or claims of me (with the exception & reservation aforesaid) & of all persons claiming by through or under me, in testimony whereof I the said Louisa Srader do hereunto set my hand & office my seal this 12th day of October 1849. The deed was proven in court 28 Nov 1849 by the oaths of Joseph Stras, James Milam, Daniel Srader.
