Christian Anniversary, 1965 - Tazewell Co. VA

Christians Honored on Fiftieth Anniversary

Mr. And Mrs. Henry F. Christian of Richlands celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary 
Wednesday, Nov. 24, and were honored at a dinner party given by their son, Dale Christian of 
Bluefield, Va., at Mullins Restaurant at Claypool Hill.
  Mr. and Mrs. Christian, natives of Tazewell County, lived at Jewell Ridge until 1943, when 
they moved to Richlands, where they have resided since.
  They are the parents of six children, two of them deceased, and have 14 grandchildren and a 
great grandson.
  Their children are Mrs. Elsie Taylor of Washington, D.C., Nile Christian of Tazewell, Dixie 
Christian of Livingston, Texas, and Dale of Bluefield.
  Present with the Richlands couple at the anniversary dinner were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Elswick, 
Mrs. George Christian, Donna Christian, Dixie and Chris Christian, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Christian, 
and Jhon Clarence "Paddle" Christian.
