Two entries for Sam Marrs:
SAM MARRS was seen with a hoe on his shoulder the other day, but no one
has accused him of using it.

SAM MARRS is at (sic) doing guard duty for the Peerless Coal and Coke
Company.
(Samuel W. Marrs, s/o William C. Marrs and Louisa/Lavicie Mitchell.
There was another Samuel Marrs in 1900 Tazewell Co VA Census records ,
but Samuel Erastus ‘Sam’ Marrs, s/o Henry Harvey Marrs & Lucinda Jane
‘Lucy’ Shrader, lived in the Jeffersonville District of the County ).

W. C. TABOR, better known as CROUCH, of Denver, N.D, was in town last
Saturday.(William Crouch Tabor, s/o Andrew Jackson Tabor-killed in the
Civil War-& Juliana Belcher).
