[Samuel Flummer Tabor, s/o Daniel Tabor & Mary Martha Flummer]. JAMES WAGNER, has accepted a position at Coopers, W. Va., Bluefield Mining Co. [MIGHT have been James Edward Wagner, s/o David Nicewander Wagner & Mariah E. Deaton, as he was an engineer that worked for the Pocahontas Coal & Coke Company in August 1908) J. R. DUDLEY is running three teams hauling logs for his new home. You cannot hold a working man down, and Jim is one of them. [James Robert Dudley, s/o James Craig Dudley & Mariah Elizabeth/Louise Tabor who was d/o Francis Tabor & Mary Shrader-NOT Mary Sanders as incorrectly entered in the Tazewell Co., Virginia Marriage Records]. T. G. SUTFIN sold a nice bunch of cattle a few days ago, to a butcher on Elkhorn. PRICE, the little son of B. W. TABOR, who has been very sick for some tiem is much improved, and said to be in school again. [Walter PRICE Tabor, s/o Ballard Witten Tabor & Florence Virginia Wagner]. Our school teacher MR. GEO. WAGNER, closed his school yesterday on account of having no wood. That looks a little bad for the community, There are a few patrons of the school that were never known to furnish any fuel for the school, still they send their children. We hope they will get ashamed of themselves and haul in some wood and start the school again. [George Miles Wagner, s/o Rev. Adam Edward Wagner & Julianna Elinor Tabor who was d/o Francis Tabor & Mary Shrader., George M. Wagner married Nannie Lane Tabor, d/o James Russell Tabor & Martha Jane Havens (my great great grqandparents). George M. Wagner also taught school at the OLD Wexler Tabor School at Mudfork, Tazewell Co., VA. I have a copy of George Wagner’s signature, on a paper of student Margaaret Alice Shrader-my aunt. Land donated for the Wexler Tabor School by Edward Wexler Tabor (my great great great uncle), s/o Richard Adam Tabor & Mildred Permelia Shrader.
