George W. Patton is ill has his home here. Miss Virginia Peery has been ill at her home on Tazewell Ave. but is better at this time. Mrs. John F. Gillespie remains ill at her home at Wittens Mill. M. J. Hankins, the well known Tazewell merchant, is retiring from the dry goods business.
