New Baby and Possums

Born to MR. and MRS. ESTEL THOMASON, a fine baby girl. Mother and baby
doing fine.

[William Estel Thomason, Sr., s/o James Warren Thomason &  Cynthia Ann
Tabor who was the d/o Richard Adam Tabor &  Mildred Permelia Shrader.
William Estel Thomason’s first wife, Lydia Lovlet Carbaugh was the
mother.  Jenny Kathryn Thomason was the new baby girl born 10 Oct 1919.
Jenny, in some cases, was a name of endearment for Virginia].

MR. WM LEATHCO and little daughter, ANNIE, from Big Vein, were calling
at MR. and. MRS. ESTEL THOMASON Sunday.

[I have always seen the name as Walter Leathco/Lethco/Lethcoe etc.
Perhaps his name was William Walter? Mr. Leathco married Elizabeth
Permelia ‘Lizzie’  Thomason who was the d/o James Warren Thomason &
Cynthia Ann Tabor. Elizabeth Permelia Thomason was the sister of William
Estel Thomason, Sr].

The foxes are enjoying quite a feast on MRS. THOMASON’S nice bunch of
turkeys. Some good hunters with their dogs are needed on Mudfork to thin
out these pests. Lots of nice fat hogs on Mudfork are to be killed but
no hog killing weather.

[ I can only assume they meant Mrs. Willima Estel Thomason].

One of our boys went out O’possum hunting one night last week, and was
gone only a few minutes and came back with two nice fat ones. They seem
to be extra nice this year and very plentiful. Would our good editor
enjoy one roasted for Thanksgiving?
