F. D., April 5, MR. and MRS. W. P. CARROL were business visitors in Bishop Monday. MR. MRS. GEORGE CARTER, spent the week end in Wise, Va., as guests of MRS. CARTER’S parents . A. L. CARTER is expected to return this week, after having spent the winter in Penn. He will be accompanied by MR. and MRS. EDD FLUMMER, who will remain here for the summer. [A. L. Carter & Martha A. (Harry) Carter’s daughter, Alice B. Carter, married Edward T. ‘Edd’ Flummer, s/o James Henderson Flummer & Catherine Elizabeth Harry). MR. and MRS GLEN DUDLEY, JR of Cincinnati, Ohio, have been visiting Mrs. Dudley’s mother, MRS. MARTHA TATE. Born to MR. and MRS. JAMES CARTER, on April 1, a son. He has been named GARY LEE. The mother was formerly MISS RUBY DURHAM.
