ED FLUMMER, received word last week of the death of her brother-in-law, SAM PUCKETT, who resided in Martinsburg, W. Va. He was married to MISS DORA CARTER, who was born and reared in this community. His wife and several children survive [Dora J. Carter , d/o A. L. Carter &. Martha A. Harry. Martha A. Harry, d/o John Harry and his second, of three wives, Caroline E. McGRANAHAN. Dora’s sister, Alice B. Carter, was married to Edward T. ‘Edd" Flummer, s/o John Henderson Flummer & Catherine Elizabeth Harry. Catherine Harry, d/o John Harry and his first of three wives, Mary- I do not know her surname. John Harry’s third wife was a widow, Margaret E. (Dedmons) Wade. STEVENSON-DANIELS MR. and MRS. ROBERT STEVENSON announce the marriage of their daughter, LOUISE, to MR. JACK DANIELS , on October 9th. The ceremony was performed by the REV. A. H. MORRISON at the Manse. Mr. Daniels is the son of , MR. and MRS. ALIRIE DANIEL (sic), of North Tazewell. Mrs. Daniels is employed by the Korner Kupboard, and Mr. Daniels is finishing his school course. He served nineteen months in the Army. The young couple are at present making their home with the groom’s parents. VISITING Sergeant and MRS. A. R. VALDO, who have been the guess of Mrs. Valdo’s parents, MR. and MRS. GRAT M. MULLIN, left Sunday for their home in Beaufort, N. C. They were accompanied by Mrs. Mullin, who will visit them in Beaufort and also her son, R. S. MULLIN and MRS. MULLIN, in Norfolk, Va. [Gratton Mustard ‘Grat’ Mullin, his wife, Sarah Pearl Leffel, and the daughter, Mrs. A. R. Valdo, is Ann Marguerite. Robert Spencer Mullin is the son. I do not know the name of R. S. Mullin’s wife].
