She was the wife of the late W. A. Shrader, a good wife and mother. She was a kind Christian woman, and she will be sadly missed. Hearty thanks to the many friends who were so good and kind to us all through our sickness. We do appreciate their kindness very much R. H. Shrader, s/o Henry Shrader, Sr., and his second wife, Louisa Kennedy, who was the parents of Mildred Permelia Shrader-the wife of Richard Adam Tabor. I MUST add that there is a debate as to Mary Shrader’s biological mother. Some say that Mary Shrader-the wife of Francis Tabor -was the child of Henry Shrader , Sr., and his first wife, Elizabeth Atrmbrister. I have NO proof but carry her as a true sister to Mildred Permelia Shrader. IF she was a child of Elizabeth Armbrister she was not named in her grandfather’s, Philip Armbrister, will UNLESS her name is also Elizabeth: …. To the heirs of his daughter Elizabeth Shrader (John, Barbara and Elizabeth Shrader), $200.00 jointly…… Philip Armbrister wrote his will on June 1, 1812, and died in July of the same year. His will was probated on August 11, 1812 (Wythe Co VA Will Book 2, p. 22). The R. H. Mathena-Robert H. Mathens, s/o John & Mary A. Mathena. R. H. For some (the next sentence is distorted by ink)?…ights Disease. …..ered greatly at times…..he bore it all patiently and was seldom heard to complain. He was a gentle child and affectionate child, and to know him was to admire him. Rayman was child of very bright mind, and from a human standpoint we would predict for him great things in the future, but alas! God had need for him, and hath called him to become one of his shining Jewels during his affliction. His tender hands displayed great gifts of drawing, the work of which will be cherished by his family when his body shall have moldered into dust. Rayman was preceded to the spirit by his mother (and) an infant who doubtless greeted him as he entered the golden gates of the celestial city. "The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away." May God, who knoweth the suffering of his people, comfort and sustain the bereaved ones in their time of sorrow and lead them to meet their loved ones again. God, in his wisdom, hath recalled The boon this love hand given (sic): And though the body slumbers here The soul is safe in heaven. (Apparently something wrong with the print of the last part-Karen.
