Angles BLUEFIELD, Va. -- Ruby Anna Beth Keen Angles, 79, of 218 Parkview Drive, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. She was born Jan. 25, 1923, in Buchanan County, Va., and was a daughter of the late Harrison Madison Keen and Rosa Catherine McGlothlin Keen. She graduated salutatorian from Garden Creek High School, attended Emory & Henry College and had taught school in Buchanan County. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bluefield, Va., where she taught Sunday School in the children's department. She was a member of Circle No. 5 and the Friendship Club and retired as secretary/treasurer of the church after 23 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam W. Angles; brothers, Earl Keen, Clarence "Shorty" Keen and James Keen; also a sister, Myrtle Deskins; and a son-in-law, Dr. M. Don Pack. Survivors: daughters, Nancy White and husband, David, Bluefield, Va., with whom she made her home, Frances Crews and husband, Jim, Oviedo, Fla., and Margaret Pack, Chesapeake, Va.; son, David Angles and wife Donita, Yards, Va.; grandchildren, Brian Crews and wife Teresa, Winter Park, Fla., Cari Towle and husband Michael, Oviedo, Jeremy White, Oviedo, Matthew White of the home, Molly and Ibby Pack, Chesapeake and Allyson and Kevin Angles, Yards; great- grandchildren, Codi Towle and Grabriel Dail; sisters, Mrs. Pearl Belcher and husband Rudolph, Abingdon, Mrs. Odis (Jesse) Fore, Bluefield, W. Va., Mrs. Wesley (Ruth) Mullins, Abingdon, Mrs. Henry (Nell) Holt, Salisbury, N.C. and Mrs. Eugene (Lorranine) Williams, Brookneal, Va.; sister-in-law, Mrs. Earl (Hattie) Keene, Grundy; and special friends, Kristen Graham, Mr. and Mrs. L.L. "Friday" Barrett, Mrs. Roxie Angles; and Dr. Sakkib Najjar. Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 25, at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Bluefield, Va., with the Rev. Hugh Kilgore and Rev. James Hart officiating. Burial will follow in the Grandview Memory Gardens, Bluefield, Va. Nephews will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be: Mr. and Mrs. L. L. (Euna) Barrett, Mr. and Mrs. John (Mary Ruth) Scott, Mrs. Sue Owens and Mrs. Janet Moore. Friends may call today from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Dudley Memorial Mortuary in Bluefield, Va.
