DEATH:

MRS. TYLER BOLING

MRS. TYLER BOLING, 57, of Burke’s Garden, died in St. Luke’s hospital
Februay 26. She was before marriage MISS MATTIE FOX, daughter of the
late STEPHEN and AGGIE  GREEVER FOX.

Mrs. Boling is survived by her husband and four sons, WILEY, and GEORGE,
of Burke’s Garden; DR. ROBERT, of West Virginia, and JOHN, of the
Medical college of Virginia, Richmond.

She was an aunt of DR. WILL  SHAWVER, of this town.

Funeral was held at the Central church in Burke’s Garden on Wednesday
afternoon. Services were in charge of REV. CHARLES TUSING, of Danville,
Virginia, a former pastor, REV. JOHN REPASS, of Bristol, and REV. C. F.
LUNDY, of Tazewell.

Rev. John J. Greever &  Margaret Catherine Perry. Stephen S. Fox, s/o

LIZZIE BOLING 52, b. Aug 1847,  had had 1 child,WIDOW/STEPMOTHER (sic)*
* I have not been able to find the death of Barbary (Wynn) Boling or the
marriage of Andrew P. Boling to a second wife.  Andrew P. Boling died 22
July 1885 at Burke’s Garden, Tazewell Co., VA. Andrew & Barbary (Wynn)
were married Dec 13 1860 in Taz. Co., VA. The fact that this census
stated that Lizzie had had only one child would apparently mean this was
not Barbary Wynn Boling.  In 1880 there were seven children of Andrew P.
& wife, Elizabeth, in theTazewell CO., VA Census report. Lizzie is a
name of endearment for Elizabeth but I do NOT know if the 1880 Elizabeth
is the same woman as in the 1900 census.
