Richlands News Press-2-17-1954
Boyd Newton Cyphers Age 40, formerly of Richlands VA, died in a Veteran's 
Hospital in Denver Colorado, Wednesday Feb 10, 1954, following a lingering 
illness.
He was born at Coeburn VA, the son of Thomas J and the late Roberta Cyphers, 
and spent most of his boyhood in Richlands.  He entered the Air Force in 
January, 1941.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs Agnes Cyphers, one daughter, Phyllis Ann of 
Denver; his father, T J Cyphers, step-mother, Mrs Nerva Cyphers, and half-
sister, Roberta Cyphers, all of Richlands, one sister, Mrs Sybil McGlothlin of 
Raven, six brothers, Chap of Pulaski, Virginia, Dorsel of Clintwood, Morris, 
Buford, Jr., and Kenneth Cyphers, all of Richlands.
Funeral services were held Monday Feb 15 in Denver Colorado.
