E. KING CROCKETT MRS. EDWARD VERMILLION CROCKETT, aged 83, died at her home near North Tazewell Tuesday night. She was a daughter of the late Uriah and Nancy Moore Vermillion of Pulaski Co., Va., and the wife of the late E. King Crockett, one of the county’s best known men, a prosperous farmer and stock dealer. His death occurred in March of 1942. Mrs. Crockett was a member of the Tazewell Presbyterian church and was prominently identified with all its activities. She is survived by two daughters, MRS. S. A. WHITE, JR., and MISS LUCILLE CROCKETT, both of North Tazewell; three sons, R. V. CROCKETT and E. T. CROCKETT, of Bluefield, Va., and J. B. CROCKETT of North Tazewell. The following grandchildren also survive: MRS. GEORGE COMER, of Saltville,; MISSES NANCY and LOUISE WHITE, and SAMUEL AUSTIN WHITE, III, of North Tazewell; DR. DOUGLAS H. CROCKETT , of Baltimore; SAMMY KING CROCKETT, of Bluefield, Va., and one great grandchild, CAROL KING CROCKETT. Two sisters and one brother also survive: MRS. H. G. HAYNES of Hinton, MRS. NANCY U. EVANS, of Poplar Hill and JAMES H. VERMILLION, of Williamsburg, Va. Funeral services will be held at the home on the Bluefield-Tazewell road at 2:30 Thursday afternoon. DR. W. W.
