EPPERSON OBITUARY NO DATE GIVEN - Around time of beginning of WW II, before 1950 W. R. Epperson Funeral rites for W. R. Epperson, 73-year old resident of Upper Mud Fork who was found dead in his bed yesterday morning, will be conducted from the home tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in a family cemetery. Nephews of the deceased will serve as pallbearers: Charles, Roy, Albert, Luther, and Ray Coleman. Kenneth and Ralph Epperson and Claude and Clifton Bowman. Granddaughters will serve as flowerbearers. MRS. STELLA EPPERSON OBITUARIES NO DATE GIVEN, YEAR IS 1950 MRS. STELLA EPPERSON Mrs. Stella Tabor Epperson, 60, of the Mudfork section of Tazewell country, died early yesterday morning in Mattie Williams hospital, Richlands, following an illness of several months. Mrs. Epperson widow of W. R. Epperson was a former member of the nursing staff of a Welch hospital and at one time had been a music instructor in Tazewell county. Born at Mudfork June 13, 1890, Mrs. Epperson was a daughter of the late Edward Wexler Tabor and Mollie Tabor. She was member of the Macedonia Methodist church. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a brother Herman C. Tabor. Only survivors are a sister-in-law. Mrs. Herman C. Tabor; Pounding Mill, Va.; and a newphew, Edward Tabor. Aberdeen, Md. Funeral service will be conducted from the Wagner-Hawkins funeral chapel Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Interment will be in the Wexley Tabor cemetery at Mudfork. Pallbearers will be Joe Shrader, Claude Bowman, Blaine Baker, Taft Wagner, Elwood Bailey and Henry Shrader. Neighbors and other friends will serve as flowerbearers. The body will remain at Wagner-Hawkins funeral chapel where friends may call after noon today. MRS. STELLA EPPERSON This afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, funeral service will be held from Wagner-Hawkins funeral chapel for Mrs. Stella Tabor Epperson, 60 of the Mudfork section of Tazewell country, who died early Sunday morning in Mattie Williams hospital. The Rev. K. M. King, Graham circuit pastor, will be assisted by the Rev. A. B. Wing, pastor of the First Methodist church. Burial will be in the Wesley Tabor cemetery at Mudfork.
