Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of the late Arch and Leah Mitchell Fuller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Hubert and Herman Fuller. Mr. Fuller was a retired mechanic for Jewell Coal and Coke. He was a member of the Casey-Shortt Post 9640. Survivors are his wife of 51 years, Hazel Stevenson Fuller; two sons, Michael Carl Fuller and wife Helen of Pilgrim Knob, Va., and Ronald David Fuller and wife, Judith of Hughesville, Md.; two grandchildren, Sara and Jessi Fuller, both of Hughesville; five sisters, Mrs. Harlan (Elsie) Keene of Palatka, Fla., Mrs. Howard (Barbara) Smothers of Palatka, Mrs. Norman (Ollie) Keen of Palatka, Mrs. Coy (Alta) Horne of Pounding Mill, Va., and Mrs. Herman (Adele) Keen of Pilgrim Knob, Va. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at 11 a.m. at Singleton Funeral Chapel in Cedar Bluff with Rev. Tony Shrader officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Va. Pallbearers will be Bradley Keen, Buddy Fuller, Jeffrey Horn, Ricky Keen, Robert Augustein and Jerry Augustein. Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Augustein, James Earl Stevens, Harlan Keen and John Stevens Jr. Friends may call at Singleton Funeral Service from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday. Singleton Funeral Service is serving the Fuller family.
