GOFF, the mother of MRS. J. H. SLUSS, of Graham, in a runaway accident in Mississippi, near Shellmound, last Saturday. Mrs. Goff and her daughter, Mrs. Sluss, were visiting relatives in Missippi when the accident occurred. No one else in the carriage was injured. The remains were taken to Kentucky for burial. [Daughter of Mrs. Gott =Mary ‘Maggie’ Gott who was the wife of John Henry Sluss, Sr., s/o James Sluss & Clair Rinda (as on tomstone) Gouldy/Goldy/Golden. John Henry Sluss, Sr, was the brother of many siblings three of whom were Corrilda Alice Sluss Shrader (wife of Rufus Jackson Shrader), Margaret Rebeccca Sluss Tabor (wife of Hugh Edward Tabor), and Merion Clovis Sluss,, Sr. (husband of Isabelle Billips).
